Hello and welcome to The Valley Hotel Homewood Birmingham. We are glad you are here to share your story with us.  The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members is our highest priority and we remain diligent in our commitment to provide a safe, hospitable environment for all who visit.  Given these unprecedented circumstances we have put forth the following procedures. We appreciate you understanding your experience may look a bit different during this time, however, please note that these procedures were established with everyone’s safety in mind.  If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, do not hesitate to let us know. Guest Room Cleaning
For your comfort, we want your stay to be as undisturbed as possible. Due to safety protocols, guestrooms will be serviced in advance of your arrival and then again upon departure. Our team members will not enter your room at any point unless specifically requested or for life safety concerns. Guests are invited to tailor their housekeeping services to their comfort level. To schedule, simply call the front desk prior to 12 pm. Additional amenities such as linens and toiletries are also available upon request and will delivered to your guest room door.

Public Space
We have increased the frequency of cleaning in our public areas paying special attention to touchpoints such as chair rails, elevator buttons, door handles and public restrooms. A Digital key is available through the Honors App. Request one today and make your phone, your key! Elevators are limited to 4 guests per cab to ensure proper physical distancing. Upon departure, skip the desk and leave your keys in your room.  You can also checkout and retrieve your folio via the Honors App.

Dining Options

Ironwood Kitchen + Cocktails is currently open 6 am - 2 pm daily, and 5 pm - 10 pm Sunday-Thursday, 5 pm - 11 pm Friday-Saturday. Additional protocols are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Additional protocols are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Valley Hotel Coffee Co is currently open 6 am - 9 pm daily.

The Terrace Bar is currently open for service 4 pm - 9 pm, Wednesday-Thursday and 4 pm - 10 pm Friday-Saturday. In-Room Dining is also available 6 am - 10 pm daily. Items will be served in disposable packaging with no physical contact.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

General emergencies requiring professional assistance please dial 911 from your guest room phone or any house phone.

FIRE EMERGENCY

Upon hearing a trouble signal within the building, hotel staff will investigate the issue immediately.  Upon hearing an alarm, it is the guests responsibility to exit the building using the closest stairwell as quickly as possible (room-by-room directions located on back of door) and await further instructions.
